Jr. Counselor Program
Are you 15 or 16 years old with experience in the Arts?
Do you reminisce about the good times you had at camp, the things you learned and the friends you made? Now’s your chance to help provide those same amazing memories to the campers at PAW. As a PAW Jr. Counselor, you will assist our staff of professional artists by serving as a mentor to our campers, setting an example through your character and conduct…and demonstrating many of the skills you have learned through your own arts experiences.
The PAW JR. Counselor Program is designed to help Jr. Counselors develop leadership skills in a hands-on… Real World…setting. As a Jr. Counselor you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of mentorship while completing volunteer community service hours, which can be listed as experience on a resume for college and work applications. Most importantly, you will have the joy of watching the campers you have encouraged and supported through their arts journey shine on stage just like you did!
PAW allows up to four Jr. Counselors per session at every one of our camp locations
for outstanding young adults.
To qualify as a Jr. Counselor, students must completely fill out the Jr. Counselor application. All applications will be reviewed and Jr. Counselors will be selected according to the merit of their application. Students will be notified of the status of their application within 2 weeks of submission.
Junior Counselors Program Tuition:
$175 per two week session
Junior Counselors Hours:
8:30am – 3:00pm

IMPORTANT NOTES
- Doors open at 8:00am. Camp begins at 9:00am. We ask that our Junior Counselors arrive at the camp site between 8:00am and 8:30am.
- End of day pick up for Junior Counselors begins at 3:00pm. We ask Jr. Counselors to stay each day through the afternoon rehearsal which ends at 3:00pm.
- Please indicate on your application if you are giving permission for your child to walk, bike or drive home.
- Jr Counselors who do not walk/bike/drive home, courtesy pick up period is 3:00pm to 3:10pm. At sites where extended day is available any Junior Counselor left after 3:15pm will incur an extended day tuition fee of $20 and the Junior Counselor must be picked up by 5:00pm. After 5:00pm a $1 per minute supervision fee will apply. At sites without extended day any Jr. Counselor left after 3:30pm will incur a $1 per minute supervision fee.
- SNACK & LUNCH – Jr. Counselors MUST bring a snack for mid-morning break and a sack lunch containing non-perishable food. We do not provide refrigeration or beverages.
