“Where words
leave off, music
begins…”
Make friends, make memories, make music! PAW’s Encore Orchestra Camp, for kids ages 8 – 15, is the place for young musicians and aspiring musicians to hone their craft, master their instrument and grow as artists. Beginners and experienced students alike will be engaged and challenged through traditional and creative teaching methods and learn to master their instrument through exercises, etudes and play. For beginners, this will be the first steps into the musical adventure of a lifetime. For more experienced students, this camp will help expand their repertoire and further develop technique as they continue their education in music.
Encore Orchestra Camp students can choose between the violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, trumpet, alto saxophone or trombone. Our students will work in small groups as well as in larger ensembles. Daily activities and workshops include orchestra rehearsal, sectional rehearsals, rhythm and ear training, music theory, musical teaching games, and more!
Music is a foundation on which children build character, self-esteem, and academic success. Our group settings are an ideal place where beginners and more experienced students alike can learn the language of music and acquire the skills which teach them how to listen as well as play. Let the joy of music open your eyes to a whole new world of possibilities!
