“SCRIPT TO SCREEN”

Do you have a story that needs to be told? Do you see stories as moving pictures? If so, then PAW’s Script to Screen Filmmaking Summer Camp, for kids ages 8 – 15, is the place for you! At Script to Screen Camp, young playwrights and filmmakers will work as a team to write, direct, film, act in and edit their own original short movie!
Each session of Script to Screen Camp is two weeks in length with 4 sessions available. In each session, our young storytellers will learn how to pitch their ideas, shape their stories through writing exercises, develop their ideas into visual images, create a shooting script and storyboards, then act in, film and edit their movie. This will be a collaborative effort, with every camp member contributing their ideas to help bring the vision to life. Each of our budding auteurs will get their own a copy of their short film which will have its premiere screening during the first act presentation of PAW’s Musical Theater Camp!
It is said that movies are the memories of our lifetime – a blend of artistry, academics, imagination and craft. Now is your chance to make lifelong memories at PAW’s Script to Screen Filmmaking Camp!
