Great news students and parents! Performing Arts Workshops offers private lessons! If you feel you could benefit from individualized coaching, or if you want to supplement your group learning experience with one-on-one instruction, our private lessons are for you! PAW’s private lessons offer the convenience and affordability of group lessons while providing students with individualized attention tailored to their needs. PAW has been voted Best of the Best in three categories in LA Parent Magazine.

Private Lessons Packages
All private lessons are one hour in duration.
PAW reserves the right to limit a teacher’s drive to less than 20 miles
round trip or add a “drive to” fee when classes are booked.

Performing Arts Workshops is here to put the extra fun into your special day as we entertain at your birthday party with our special themed activities. It’s all fun and games as you and your friends enjoy your choice of PAW’s special themed activities which include:

PAW theme parties are for children ages 4 and up. PAW party leaders come to your party location, whether it’s a home, park, restaurant or even your school! Choose a 1 to 2 hour package. Each party and theme is tailored to your child’s age.

THE UNBIRTHDAY PARTY…
Moms and Dads: So you’re having a get together with your adult friends, a holiday party, or you and your fellow parents are called to a meeting at school. Enjoy “grown-up” time with the comfort of knowing that your and your friends’ kids are being safely supervised and entertained in the next room by PAW professionals. We will come to your home, school, or location of your choosing and conduct our group themed party activities for ages 4 and up that the kids will love.

About Each Party
Upon their arrival, show your PAW Party Leader to the staging area you have selected for them to conduct your themed activity. The PAW Party Leader(s) create the excitement as they lead your child and their friends in activities, fun and games – all based on the theme you have selected. Parents and guests are welcome to watch, take photos and enjoy! At the completion of the activity, the PAW Party Leader will show the children to the next area of your choosing as you continue on with your party.

Distance Driving Fee
PAW reserves the right to limit a teacher’s drive to less than 30 miles round trip or add a “drive-to” fee when your party is booked.

Special Requests and Accommodations
Here at PAW, we work to personalize each party. Please let us know about your child’s favorite songs, interests, hobbies, etc. We will do our best to incorporate these elements into your party.

AGREEMENT

1. Credit card payments for PAW parties or private lessons will NOT be
     processed until confirmation has been made via phone or email that PAW
     can accommodate the request. Not all party or private lesson requests
     can be accommodated by PAW.

2. Once confirmation has been made and scheduling modifications (if any)
     are confirmed in writing, PAW will process payment and schedule a PAW
     teacher/party leader.

3. Cancellation Policy
     a. PAW PARTIES – Parties have a non-refundable deposit of $75.00.
         Cancellation must be made 2 days prior to the scheduled date of the
         party to receive balance of payment.
     b. PAW Private Lessons – PAW must be given 24 hours notice for all
         cancelled lessons in order to receive credit for future or make-up
         lessons. Failure to do so will result in a defaulted lesson. Students
         are charged the regular lesson rate for each defaulted lesson.
         Teachers will not be required to make up any defaulted lesson. All
         PAW packages must be used within a 3 month period. For all
         weekend private lessons, cancellations must be made by end of
         business (4:30pm) on the Friday prior.
     c. Cancellation of either PAW parties or private lessons must be made by
         email at performingartsla@aol.com or by phone at (310) 827-8827.
         PAW will confirm knowledge of an excused cancellation either by email
         or by phone at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

4. For both PAW parties and private lessons, a parent or guardian must be
     on the premises at all times in case of emergency.

5. Inclement Weather and Cases of a Teacher Emergency: If it is deemed
     unsafe for a PAW teacher or party leader to drive due to inclement
     weather or in cases of a teacher emergency, a full refund is given for
     parties and/or a make-up lesson will be scheduled for private lessons.

6. “Drive-to” fees:
     a. For PAW Parties the drive-to fee is $5 per party leader when the PAW
         Party leader(s) must drive over 30 miles round trip from their home to
         your location.
     b. For PAW Private Lessons the drive-to fee is $5, and is added per
         lesson when the PAW teacher must drive over 20 miles round trip from
         their home to your location.

7. All PAW teachers and party leaders are regarded by PAW as private
     contractors. They are well-trained professionals and will adhere to all
     PAW regulations and guidelines.   All PAW teachers and party leaders
     clear a criminal background check before being placed to work with
     children.

8. On behalf of my child, guests and for myself, I knowingly assume all risks
    arising from participation in activities related to PAW Private Lessons
    and/or Parties programming. I certify that I have legal authority to sign
    this release/waiver of liability, and sign it without duress or coercion.
